goings on

Some weeks, like this week feel extra long. Derick has been working late. Grandma has been sick, and unavailable for babysitting. I didn't get to yoga class.

It's been the California version of freezing cold, meaning that we don't get out as much as we should. And so, there has been a lot of lego building. And pajama wearing. And checking on big brother's computer games.

Long quiet days at home without any agenda, that somehow feel just right for January. But I will surely  be happy when the weekend rolls around.
